  • Do you provide beach towels?
    Yes, lovely lime green and turquoise blue towels to match the sunbeds.
  • Do you take mid-week bookings in July and August?
    Sadly we can't. We appreciate the flights are cheaper mid week which is why we changed to take Sunday bookings but midweek bookings tends to lead to empty nights and we rely on the income from the peak season bookings to tide us through the rest of the year. Outside of July and August we can be more flexible.
  • Do you have a hairdryer?
    Yes, one hairdryer and one pair of straightners.
  • What is the earliest time we can get into the villa?
    4pm unless we haven't had clients the week before and then we may be able to bring that time forward a little.
  • What time do we have to leave the villa – is that flexible?
    Sorry but the absolute latest time is 10am as we have cleaners that will turn up on the dot of 10am and be keen to start cleaning and preparing for the next guests.
  • Do you have internet access?
    Yes, free unlimited wireless access.
  • Do you cater for young babies?
    100% - we have two lovely cots, two high chairs, a baby walker, a bottle steriliser, changing mat, bath toys, a bath thermometer, a babies bath towel with hood and a baby monitor.
  • Do you have DVDs to watch in the home cinema?
    Yes. Over 300 – some suitable for little ones, others for 'adults only' and the majority for those in between those two parameters.
  • Can we smoke in the villa?
    No, sorry but we have lots of lovely outside areas where you can smoke and we provide ashtrays.
  • Can you walk to the beach?
    Only if you are bored, mad or a health freak! It is about 45 mins!
  • Can you walk to a bar or restaurant
    Yes, there is a little bar in the hamlet of Santa Rita where you can buy a beer or water etc. or you can walk to the bottom of the road (harder walking back! ) You will find a little shop and Alpendre restaurant where you can also pop in for a beer and a basket of bread and olives.
  • Are the supermarkets open on Sunday?
    Yes – nothing opens very early in Portugal but the supermarkets are open on Sunday and depending on which you go for, they are generally open from 9am until 8pm.
  • How big is the swimming pool?
    8m x 4.5 m and it is 1M at the shallow end and 2.25m at the deep end and it has a lovely seat and table so you can sit and have a G & T sitting in the pool!
  • Do you have a swimjet?
    YES!!
  • Can I pay for the villa when I get there?
    – err no!!!
  • Is the pool overlooked?
    No!
  • If we arrive late, can you get some provisions in for us?
    Yes of course – we will get water, milk, cheese, ham, eggs, bread, butter, crisps, fruit juice and either beer or wine – 20, 25 or 30 Euros depending on whether there are 4,6 or 8 of you. We will also prepare a hot meal for you - let us know if you want to see our menu options.
  • Can you get soya milk for our baby?
    Yes – no problem at all.
  • Do you have an information pack with details of shops and restaurants etc. in the villa?
    Yes, we do – it is very comprehensive and should tell you all you need to know.
